About Us

Te Are Manu (Cook Islands) Incorporated is a Cook Islands Registered Charity Organisation, based in Rarotonga, that operates the only Veterinary Service in the Cook Islands. Our clinic is a community based initiative and is 100% locally owned and operated.

The Clinic

Founded in 2017 to provide quality veterinary care for the animals of the Cook Islands and improve the standards of animal care and welfare through education.
We are very fortunate to have a beautiful new clinic based in Arorangi and welcome any volunteers with open arms and a friendly Cook Islands welcome!

Volunteers and Donations

We are always in need of volunteers who are keen to make a difference whilst enjoying our beautiful island paradise! Volunteering with TAM means experiencing a varied and sometimes challenging caseload, along with plenty of opportunities to explore this beautiful place that we call home.

We rely solely on the generosity of the community and the members of the veterinary industry who volunteer their services here in the Cook Islands.
All donations go directly to Te Are Manu Vet Clinic, allowing us to continue providing the animals and people of Rarotonga and the Cook Islands with the best veterinary care possible!
